Planning a wedding can be hard. Between the amount of guests to please and the high costs it can be a stressful time. So, now is the time to pause and consider what it is that you want.
Would you be perfectly happy with close friends and family, simple food and a small venue? If the answer is yes, a micro-wedding may be just the thing for you.

What is a micro-wedding? Think of it as the mid-way point between the big white wedding and eloping. A micro-wedding typically has a maximum of 50 guests. This means there are fewer people to coordinate and appease, there are less drinks to serve and less mouths to feed, already the cost has been reduced significantly.

With micro-weddings growing in popularity, it has never been easy to have the simple wedding you want. No need to invite that cousin from Canada you’ve never met, or the women from your Mum’s tennis club. A micro-wedding is all about you and your partner.

Of course, it is still a wedding which will always come with plenty of things to consider. Will your parents and in-laws be upset by the non-traditional route? Do you still want a big white dress? How will you feed your guests?
These are all relevant questions whose answers should come down to what will make you and your loved one happy. Remember, it is your day, so be sure to celebrate your way.
